• If you subscribe to our mailing list you already know this, but if you don’t we’re excited to let the world know we’re bringing Crown of Aragón to Kickstarter on June 27th!

    Why Kickstarter?

We have so much content for Crown of Aragón ready to be produced, we love this game and we want to get it into the hands of more people. After much discussion we decided that Kickstarter was the best fit to do that!

What’s different from the Preview / Print on Demand version?

All the cards and art in the main deck will be the same as the current version. We’ll be adding (at least) two main things to the box: 6 new leaders (like the promo cards but different) and influence tracking boards to use instead of dice.

We have some other cool things we’d like to include but that’s what stretch goals are for, right?

Will there be exclusive content for the Kickstarter?

No. While the new content will be available to our KS backers first, everything will be made available to everyone at some point in the future.

Will there be an upgrade kit for people who bought the PAX Preview Edition or Print on Demand Edition from DriveThruCards

It will most likely not be possible to make the box or components from the Kickstarter edition available separately, but we will make any new cards we include available via print on demand after all Kickstarter backers have received their rewards.

    When are you launching?

We’re launching on June 27th at 7PM EST.

What can you do to help?

If you want to start helping right now you can direct your friends to sign up for our mailing list, follow us on Facebook/twitter, or just subscribe to updates on Board Game Geek.

Thank you to everyone who has already supported us by buying the preview or print on demand version of Crown of Aragón. We’re really looking forward to expanding this game long into the future.

  • If you joined us at PAX unplugged last weekend you may have gotten your hands on one or more leader cards that look like this:

Leader cards are an additional type of card that you can use to add variable player powers (and a ton of replayability) to your games of Crown of Aragón!

Leader cards begin the game in play and each player should start with one with its leader side up (denoted by the crown symbol and horizontal alignment). While a player has a leader card in front of them they can use their leader’s ability just like the ability of any other in play card.

The back side of each of the three promo leaders we had at PAX also features an entirely new card type called an Event. Event cards are played just like the Political, Economic and Military cards from the deck but rather than being played into an area they are simply discarded after use.

Any time you could play an event card (usually as your play for your turn, but you could also play one as the additional card from abandoning a Sawmill for instance) you can “give up” your leader card to play its event side. If you do, that card is removed from the game after the event is resolved. Leader cards can never be put in the discard pile or the draw deck.

James, Philip and Randall are only available when you meet one of us in person but rest assured that we have plenty more content that will be coming in the future. To keep up with the latest news from us don’t forget to sign up for our mailing list!

  • You are the ruler of a small medieval kingdom with ambitions of being the monarch of a great nation.  Using political schemes, military might, and economic prowess, can you sway the people (and the court) to your side and claim the Crown?

Joggle’s debut title, Crown of Aragón is a fast-paced, area control card game set in the medieval kingdoms that would eventually unite to become part of modern Spain.  Utilizing a unique two-player drafting system, players will vie for control by exerting their influence over three spheres of control.  Whoever can gain the most support will be empowered to wear the Crown of Aragón, while the loser risks becoming nothing more than a vassal state.

    Key Game Features:

    • Two-player card game
    • Short play time (10 – 15 minutes)
    • Unique drafting mechanic
    • Multiple win conditions

Crown of Aragón will be available at your friendly local game store this spring but you can buy a special preview version at PAX Unplugged this weekend!
